Asset rental

At NO additional cost to the Client, Tirage will facilitate a non-recourse residual stake investment into Client selected assets, which affords Clients the opportunity to enjoy full use of the assets whilst not paying the full costs, over required contractual rental periods. At the end of the contractual rental periods and provided the assets are returned in good working order, the initial residual investment is recovered from the professional, expert and legal disposal of the assets, meaning that the Client never incurs the responsibility for the residual.

In addition to the above services, comprehensive and competitive insurance products are offered to cover the equipment that Clients rent, thereby mitigating replacement costs in the event of loss.

Asset renewal

Rental solutions allow for upgrades of Client’s selected assets, aligned with technology advancements (when applicable) without increasing repayments or making additional cash flow outlays, meaning Clients benefit from:

  • No penalties for refreshing / swapping out of equipment;
  • No increases in rental payments;
  • No responsibility for legally disposing of returned and / or replaced assets; and
  • No surprise in the total cost of ownership (TCO), as existing technology is used.

Asset sale and lease-back

Sale and lease-back of a Client’s existing selected assets at attractive rates and based on the non-recourse residual finance model used in “Asset rental” above. Again, this means that Clients never have to pay the full costs of the technology, however get full use of the equipment with ownership of the assets migrating to the new owner of the assets.

This means Clients enjoy the immediate benefits of:

  • New and existing assets being converted to rental arrangements;
  • Assets being bought out at Net Book Value, thereby eliminating the possibility of book losses or tax implications;
  • A cash injection into the business;
  • Improved asset control and management;
  • Standardisation of equipment and a reduction in TCO through savings on maintenance costs; and
  • Reductions of storage costs by disposing of excess assets.

Asset lifecycle management

Asset management can be provided on behalf of Clients and / or for rental contracts, which is conducted in a real-time asset register environment where a Client has access to and can continuously manage its contracts accordingly.

The benefits of which are, inter alia, the knowledge of:

  • What assets have been invested in, who is using them and where they are located;
  • The configuration of the asset base;
  • What software resides on what hardware?
  • What assets are below specification; and
  • What assets are missing?
